We’re sore (from dancing) but smiling hard this morning after last night’s incredible 9-projector screening at the Denver Film Center. Girl Walk transformed the DFC’s largest sit-down theater into a stand-up dance party with guests in the aisles, up by the screen and standing on seats waving their hands. As audience-members exited the screening room into the lounge, they were surrounded by 7 more screens, on every wall, above the bar and even on the ceiling, and boogied the night away with conga lines, a little breakdancing, and plenty of revelry. Thanks to the all-star team at DFC who created a magical atmosphere of dance, energy and film, and to Team Firefox, who got everyone dancing a little bit harder. Your open arms and excited responses are what will carry this film further and wider. We’re sore (from dancing) but smiling hard this morning after last night’s incredible 9-projector screening at the Denver Film Center.
